Not necessarily .It's possible that your weight is ok but your body fat   levels are high.

That means low muscle mass. If that's your state, you might need to do some anaerobic   exercises like weight lifting.
Weight lifting should be held under the supervision and guidance of a certified trainer. If you are not healthy consult your physician.

 

Eggs an essential diet product -not only for birds2.High defecation rate means your metabolism is high

Not even in birds. No, it doesn't mean high metabolism rate, & not that you are burning extra fat.

 It means that your body couldn't digest all the food you consumed and it takes

 it out as waste through your bowel.

 ( defecation rate is high in birds because they have no intestines only stomach).

3. Fat can be burnt in specific areasBurn fat in specific areas -only as barbecue diet

Can we burn fat in specific areas? Only as a steak and such.

Otherwise, fat is burnt all over the body as a unit and in accord with genetics.

 In order to see certain areas more firm and shaped we must go on a low calorie diet and combine it with body work out to build our muscle tissue.

 

4. Eating late at night results in turning the food straight into fat

NO.  Food turns into fat when we eat more than the body needs.

No relation what so ever to place, hour or position. It's true that at night

our metabolism rate is slower, but you will gain weight if the sum of what

 you consumed that day exceeded your body needs.

 

 

 

5.Caffein helps to burn fat and lose weight

NO. Drinking coffee before work out will not bring your body to

burn more fat and lose weight. Drinking coffee before a strenuous exercise like

a long run is useful if you avoided caffeine for a week or two

before the long run or the competition .Caffeine suppresses the

feeling of pain in the brain thus helps athletes improve their

performances.

 

6.Brown Sugar is healthier than White Sugar

NO. Both are pure carbohydrates, a sucrose sugar. Brown sugar gets

its distinctive color from the presence of molasses.

 

7.'No sugar added' or 'without sugar' products are good for diet

Not necessarily .Always read the small letters. Always. In some products no

sugar is added BUT honey or molasses are added instead. Honey and

molasses do have calorie value ,they are not 'diet products '.

Moreover if you or one of your family members has diabetes ,these

statements should not fool you. No sugar added or without sugar does

not always mean that these products can be used by people with diabetes.

In some cases the sweeteners   used to substitute for the real sugars do

have calorie value, meaning they are real sugars too. The difference might be in

their Glycemic Index = GI .Some of them have Lower GI than pure sugars which

means that these sweeteners do not disintegrate (metabolize) immediately

and hence do not elevate blood sugar as fast as pure sugars .They

disintegrate later on and are used by the body as pure sugars.

 

8.Eating diet products with empty calories helps diet

When our body is fed with empty calories -that is food products that has artificial

sweeteners with  no calorie value ,it feels the fraud. Our body knows when it is being

cheated and after a while it develops such argent need for real food as if it was

starved .This is why we find ourselves raiding the whole fridge smashing all stop

signs on the way. Moreover, water is also an " empty calorie " for us .Water can not replace food. Our body knows the difference between a thick soup and a watery one .We find ourselves eating more bowls of soup if it is too watery. However, drinking before meal can help eat less, because we feel full early during the meal .

Eating less but real food from all food groups is much better then eating large quantities of industrial artificial substitutes.

 

 9.Fast weight loss diet will put you on track

 

Rarely. Most of the times when one uses these killer diets,  its for a short time. Almost no one can stay for long on a very low calorie diet. Mostly  after the motivation for this fast diet has passed  people will go slipping into their old eating habits. This will surely make them gain weight again. Look at the pattern  :
