  • Although these are mostly power workout as weight lifting ,
    Tai Qi as seen in the picture below is also considered under this
    category because it does not elevate the pulse.
    Aerobic workouts are those which elevate the pulse ,and
    anaerobic workouts are those which do not .
     
  • These workouts do not burn much fat while exercising them
    but they
    build your muscles.
     
  • A more muscular body burns much more energy at rest.
    To feed these growing muscles the body accelerates its
    metabolism and burns more calories at rest. These calories
    are taken from fat. Which means two people with the same
    weight ,the more muscular one will have faster weight
    loss
     if they eat and exercise the same.
     
  • Building your muscles also helps to avoid the saggy look one
    gets after losing weight with out any exercises.
